Hi. I also met somebody online and claimed to be a US soldier. I asked for his official email address and he give this to me:

While this is the valid format for an email address for the US military, it does not mean that you are dealing with a real soldier. Unless you are able to write to that address (without CCing any other email address) and get a reply from it, it does not mean the person quoting it actually has access to it.

Also, if this individual has asked you to make payments for communications, leave or anything else or asked you to receive money or goods for him, then he is definitely a scammer.

Please post more details of the person you are in contact with, including some of the emails he has sent you.

Here is the details of our converasation:

1. He wanted to take a leave from his mission and send me a copy of his army base unit why he wasnt allowed to take on leave (i already do my research and have a hint that he is a scammer). This is the exact message:

SNIPERS are not allowed to go for leave when ever they are on a mission like this just only if the PARENTS, WIFE, FIANCE, GIRLFRIEND OR LOVER request for the officer's vacation and that is going to involve a little security payment that the person requesting for the Sniper's vacation will pay for the military official workers before he can leave and allowed to go out the base to the requested country.

1. This payment is as a verification that the person requesting is not a robot or an enemy poser.

2. The little security payment is affordable and also will be returned/refunded back to who so ever requests the SNIPER vacation in just 24hours when the Sniper gets to the requested country.

3. The Sniper and Lover will be sent at least $10,000 to spend during his leave once he gets to the requested country in 24hours as a compesation of his service.
Kindly bear with this rules as they are for security reasons because many officers already died going to wrong people, More so, we suggest you request this because, officers will soon be redeployed to go battle with the ISIS in Syria and Mosul.
