So I've read all the cases wherein people are being scammed by these "militaries".
I'm currently in this situation. I'm still in contact with this person that I know is doing all things just to get money from me.
His name is Maxwell Richmond Yax. He said he's half German and half American and was married to a French woman who died 3 years ago and she left him with 2 sons.He's currently deployed in Aleppo Syria.
I used to talk with this person in Instagram. He started following me on September 25th. We talked and chat via IG and later on he asked to use Hangouts.
It's surreal. He had couple of pictures posted on IG together with his 2 kids. I've asked him if he has an FB account but he said that they're restricted to use it because scammers use their pictures in different sites. I had a lot of questions about him and he managed to answer everything. I already had a doubt that he's NOT telling the truth. It's too good to be true. But still, I decided to chat with him and he's very sweet and thoughtful.
Then he begun telling me that he really wanted to be with me so we can be together for a month. So I've asked how would I be able to help him do that and he told me that I can apply for him to have a vacation/leave and I should send a letter to their vacation unit so they can process it. So okay, I've asked him to draft the email for me and I can send it directly to his office. He provided me an email address - [email protected] - he said he's in charge in Syria and Afghanistan.
So, I've sent the email and have received their quick response the next day. The email says that I have to fill out they form and send it back to them once done. They attached 2 forms, one for the leave requst form and the other is the Policies and instructions.
I told Max that I won't be able to fill out the form for some reason. He advised me to reply to the email and tell them that there was a problem with the attached files. So I've replied to the email and asked them to confirm that no monetary requirements will be asked for the application and of course I was expecting that they would say that there should be payments for this and that.
So I've got their reply yesterday and I was right.. They said that there will be fees that needs to be paid in order for him to get his vacation application be approved.
As of today, I told Max that I haven't received the response from his Commander yet and I can feel that he's very irritated, annoyed coz he's telling me that he was already advised that the've already responded. He come up with an idea that they could send it to him and he will just forward it to me once received.
FYI
I have his pictures and his kids. We had a video call once and he was wearing the Army uniform and he's in an office where there were other soldiers too.
