Information on romance scams and scammers.

I was scammed by a " romance scammer" in Benin. He was on Match.com. Thankfully, i did not send any more money to him, after researching him and finding "scamwarners". If you are new to this site....there is a reason you are here. It is sooo easy to get involved with these people. Dont be ashamed. Because you are loving and caring, it makes you a good person. Don't question your morals or value.

When you make that first " huh? or what?" face or you have that feeeling. Stop. Run an ip check and if it has gone on for months..such as mine. Go back and read the very first mails you recieved from him. Because we get so caught up in our current feelings for our scammer. We dont " see" the obvious.

Their speech and writing is all the same. If you are on this site to read and are still " not sure", because you really feel love for your scammer. When you come back here, and i still do often. Just to read, and be thankful, I recovered. I get so many laughs :oh-joy: ( of course it wasnt funny at the time).

For all of you who have been romanced scammed, you will actually learn and revisit this site to help others. And you will recover, and be the strong woman or man that you are. Not to mention, you have come a long way in recognizing these types of scams. :=)

He is still [email protected], [email protected]. I am sure he also goes by other names too. ( notice the e- before the a- in micheal).
