With the limited information you posted I would say it is a scam.

Military members on deployment don't have time to be on dating sites looking for love.

The little time that he does have will be spent with friend and family.

Can you copy and paste a few messages he sent you?

Here is a post regarding what he claims he did yesterday:

Aww babe you always make my day. I love you always and forever.
I’m doing fine today. Our debriefing was yesterday, so today is pretty normal and the boys are up to nothing much. Just checking the equipment, and weapons.
By the way, the captain summoned the members of the team who carried out the rescue op on Wednesday. The Kenyan national whom we rescued flew to his home country yesterday and he phoned in this morning. Cap. said he wanted to show his appreciation to every member of the team (which I dunno what it is. I was just doing my job. And I don’t expect any form of compensation for it)
But anyways, I guess I’ll hear the rest of it later. How are you this morning?
You must be preparing for work. Slept well last night?

I still say it is a scam.

A few things in that message has RED FLAGS.

Stop all contact with him.

Romance scammers will take their time before asking for money or have you receive money/packages.

You will need to find a host.

How to post photo's >> viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3219

Please watermark all pictures as " USED BY A SCAMMER". Blot out any children faces or do not post children.

What name is he using and rank?

I have been messaging him on hangout since February. He told be he would be home to Jax Fl the end of April.. I have picture #2, #4 and one with supposedly his son. He also told me he couldn’t video chat or talk on the phone and which made me suspicious, I felt like he was building up to a scam involving money so I went along with his romantic conversations and sure enough a couple of days ago he asked me what bank I used. I just said a federal credit union at a college. Then he mentioned a friend that was trying to open a gym in Atlanta. Yesterday he asked me if he could send his friend some money to help open up the gym and me some money through my account cause he wants me handling all his affairs. I told him no.

Forgot to add I also met him on Tinder and shortly after he deleted his profile. I have a phone number for him: 929-265-8311. It’s probably a burner phone. He used it to text me before he convinced me to get on Hangouts and message him there.

Wow, I stopped communicating with him but before I stopped communicating he told me he had received luxury rugs and a gold bar as payment for helping with a rescue. He also asked me to send $350 dollars to his child's mother in order to assist her with medical bills. He never gave me a phone number, but shortly after we communicated in google hangouts he deleted the email from his profile. I wish I knew the gentleman whose picture he was using, so we could tell him there is a scammer using his pic.

Please do not try to find the victim who is pictured in this thread.

He most likely knows that his photo is being used.

He (victim) is trying to go on with his life and be left alone as you all would want.
