Major Kristian Berg Soldier Scam

Hello,
i had a guy named Kristian Berg who sendet me a friend request in facebook. We startet to chat, and he wrote me really fast love letters.

I wrote him, that i am married and not interested- but i had pitty with him, because he told me, he is a soldier in Afganistan and in a short time he comes out there and go whereever he wants to. I thought- ok, my father was a soldier too and probably he has illusions because life is so hard, so i went on with answering him.

After a few mails he asked me yesterday, if i can take 700 000 Dollars, he send the money and if i can keep it, until he comes to pick it up. He probably will stay here on the canarian islands then.

He has a 17 year old son in the army and he is too young to keep the money. His wife died 6 years ago from cancer. When i said, ok, i will keep the money, he wanted me to pay 8000 Euro for charge-what he told me in a mail in the next morning- he said he sendet me the money and he showed me a paper- where i could read, 7.5 kg weight and written on the papers it contains a laptop, a phone Samsung and a diamand ring ect.

because he could nt write something from money. and he said the convoy is waiting and they send him somewhere else- out of kabul- where he fights against terrorism and its dangerous there. He has no time.

And he got a little angy, when i said i have no money to pay- he said...but you are working, and you can ask the bank. When i found another page in internet that it is a scam, i sendet him the link from the scam internetpage and blocked him in facebook.

I although informed facebook about his messages. His name there was Kristian Berg. He said his father is german- but he growed up in US and is a major- not a normal soldier.

I send you know what he wrote, that you can see his style of writing. I hope nowbody get scammed from him. 8000 Euro for charge is a lot of money. It looked real- he gave me the time, when the parcel will arrive too. But look for yourself.

I have sent you the money today, i used one of the leading courier company here in Kabul to send the parcel to you, the name of then courier company is Vas Express Delivery service the courier is a diplomatic courier and this will be delivered to you by a diplomat, the above is the attached airway bill of the parcel and according to the courier company, It will arrive on Thursday, on 5/17/2018, please take note of the date. Honey note that I put the money in a small safe box inside the parcel and some other jewelry, it has code for opening and locking, so when you receive the parcel I will send you the code to open the small safe box that contains the money, the amount inside is $ (seven hundred thousand ), we can buy an apartment and still have enough money to start a small scale business there in your country that will be profitable or you can put part of the money into fixed deposit for 3 to 6 months while we do some business feasibility.. Please note that I did not inform the company about the money inside, its only secret between me and you, because if I should inform them that there is money inside, they will refuse to convey the parcel, please I have paid for the handling charges, but the company might ask for local charges, because i ask them if i can pay it over here they said no that it must be paid at the London Heathrow International Airport as a tax. please if they ask, just help me to pay them the money without hesitating.. thank you very much.

5. one gold/ diamond ring .
6 one gold jewelry box

Then he sendet me the certification from the company who sends the parcel. It has been VAS EXPRESS DELIVERY SERVICE , international diplomatic worldwide shipments only. It looked like he payed for delivery charges 3500 Dollars . After that he wrote:

I don't want my package to stay there for that long and that is the reason why i need you to help me pay for the local tax charge as soon as they contact you
According to the supplier. Tax fees will cost us 7,000 British pounds, which will be around 8,000 euros, you need to help us to pay the tax fees before the package can deliver to your home.

After my reply he answered like this:

Yes, I will refund it to you or if you want to use the money during the week, once the package arrives you can put the money you have spent out of the package in order.
Or wait until I come first, or should I give you the code to unlock the package?
You will have to make the payment as soon as the delivery company contact you and the payment has to be made to London Heathrow Airport before the package can be delivered to your door step

I did nt payed- i was happy to find something similar from a Scammer in the internet. He made me unsure- because he said, i need to do it, his mission is dangerous now, he leaves now to another place, where he has no internet, no phone- and he needs to concentrate on his job (that he does nt get killed ) and i need to pay that tomorrow.

There is no package being sent. The scammer is trying to steal your money.

Please post all the email addresses he used including any from the fake shipping company. Not yours. Also post his phone number.

In the future do not send the scammer links to anti scam forums or inform the scammer you know it is a scam. Block and ignore him.

I don t had an emailadress- he only sendet messengers in Facebook. Facebook deleted now his page. I was thinking probably the picture has although not been his, because on the shirt of this guy was written retiered. What does a retiered major in Afganistan- he looked much younger on the foto, but he said he is born in 22.5. 1957, what means 59 years old. So i guess, he will go on with his story- but probably use anouther picture and anouther name or birth date. Its only about all to be aware- if somebody wants money from you- never pay, does nt matter what he say. Like you say- post it here- and ignore and block him.
But what i wanted to say- don t accept in facebook people you don t know. I asked him before, why he sendet me a friendship- and he answered only , that friendship is worth- his replies , when i was asking, why he trust me so much after one week chating have been thin arguments like- its not the time, you know each other - its the respect. Funny was although- in the beginning all loveletters, ignoring, that i am married. But when he told me, i should take care about his money, and then he will come here and live with me- i begged him not to cause me problems, because i am married- and i am happy. Then he changed directly and said- he respect my marriage, and he wish my family the best, he knows, my husband an me, we are made one for the other and we will stay until the end of our life together......and i thought- how exaggerated is this reaccion- first from adoring and loving me- ignoring my marriage at all- at least writing he knows that we are made one for the other. And this change from one extrem to the other showes- that the feelings are not real. This is my warning to all- people like that handle even, when we are unfriendly- but when they see, they have no change- they only change the story. That makes you aware its about a cheater- first they play the good guys, then they are in trouble and want your pitty, then they give you a lure ( why pronounce directly 700 000 Dollar in numbers) - and when you accept to help (how easy story- can you please take my 700 000 Dollar, i go somewhere, where i get probably killed, and nobody knows that you got the money....) at least they say there is a charge ....8000 Euro- and then - no time, convoy is picking them up- they make you bad feelings, if you don t agree to help them. .....really perfect ....Thank god ScamWarners does exist.
