I met this guy via gay dating app Jack'd. He was an Italian and he said due to the nature of his work he's always on the road to do research with a team to solve various of outbreaks. We exchanged WeChat to continue the communication. It was believable because he actually video-called me when he's going to a wedding in Italy or when he's driving in the car back from work.
After two weeks or so, he told me that he has been stationed at Damascus, Syria because of some sort of outbreak is happening there. He told me that the team will be protected by UN army. Days later, he informed me that he has been selected along with a few doctors to go for a raid to kill terrorist leader, so won't be online for 24 hours. Indeed, I didn't hear from him for more than 24 hours.
When he came back from the raid, he mentioned that he saved a life of a Saudi Arabian, named Abdulrahmann Assad Hassan which was being held as hostage and in a coma. When he awaken from the coma, he was grateful for Roman and apparently his family actually flew from Saudi Arabia to pick him up. They actually stayed contact after Abdulrahmann went back to Saudi Arabia. After a few days, Roman told me that Abdulrahmann family would like to send a gift to him as a token of appreciation for saving their son's life. Now, as you can guess. Roman is in Syria, living in a camp. Naturally, the gift can't be sent to Syria. Secondly, not to Italy also because he isn't in his home at Italy. So he would like Abdulrahmann to send the gift to me to accept on behalf until he meets me in coming months.
Actually, I wasn't suspecting him before the whole raid and hostage saving thing. When he asked to accept on behalf, that's when it triggered my senses. I've heard so much about the love package scam in my country. Abdulrahmann actually sent the item to a delivery company (https://apexglobal-logistics.com/) first without asking for my basic information. He then only asked Roman to collect my email address and later asked me to deal with the delivery company's correspondent. This was the first time I heard you actually can deal with home address and other basic info you need to send out a package overseas. It's damn suspicious to me. I played along with it of course because I would like to see how far this goes and I haven't 100% sure that Roman is a scammer. Next day, I've received email from the delivery company which was as follow:
-------

I was surprised that they actually had a tracking number for me to track on their site. But nowadays, you can whip up anything on the net. Of course, I did a lot of googling and this company is so under the radar. Couldn't even find any info on it. There's one thing got my suspicious about the mail was the date of shipping. When I was writing this on the forum, it was 28/12/2018 but I got the confirmation that the package shipped on 30/12/2018 4:30 pm. That's insane. That's why I googled so hard until I got to this forum, I hope anyone could help me verify if this. I had in my mind already this might be a scam case but still not sure.
I tried to list out the info I got:
The guy I met online: Roman Federico de Rossi Alessandro / Roman Alessandro
Contact number: +393510219580
e-mail: [email protected]
I will try to update the picture after I understand how to upload in the forum. Thanks guys.
