There is a real Command Sgt Major David M. Bruner - but it is not the real CSM David M. Bruner who is writing to women, and requesting help and money from them for obtaining military leave. The scammer is using the name of CSM David M. Bruner; and also using the real David Bruner's photographs, and website links to information about the genuine man.
