Literally the same, met Braun Strowman claimed lived in St. Petersburg, FL from Baltimore, MD on Hinged, he abruptly had to be deployed then claimed he sent a package with gifts. Then I get an email asking for 950Euros for package to be released because it is held up in customs in Turkey. Pretty sophisticated, sent a waybill with printed information that almost looked real but for a few typographical errors. There is even a webpage set up with a company name for the shipping company (phone never worked). I never sent money but then got pushy about it. Glad I found this site with phone number.
He used 443-424-6078 only on WhatsApp.

He has at least 6-7 photos he uses and claims he does not take pictures.
He also sent a passport photo but if you pay close attention the signature does not match the name B Strowman.
BE CAREFUL!!
I was dumb enough to share more than I should have online, he seems straightforward and kind at first.

Hi guys, got scammed by this person too.

we matched on Hinge, after he got my phone number, he deleted the match.
He was nice to be honest, but things didn't add up!
He said he was here for 3 months, and I asked about his family and he said he was an only child with distant family in Europe and that his parents died, his father when he was 11 and his mother 9 years ago. Also he had a dog and a cat. He asked me about my trips, I said I traveled a bit, sent him few pics and asked pics also. He sent me some, and I asked, oh how about he pics from the trips, he said he lost his phone and just had a few. Anyways, I was bored at home, due to the pandemic situation and I decided to google one of his images. And ban, I ended up here. I took it very light, like oh well, people are weird these days. I asked him why he was doing it and chatted a bit. But of course, he started to defensive. Anyways, he didn't have time to play his part about the money, I found out too soon.

Matched with this one on the dating app hinge, exept he calls himself Braun Strowman. Soon moved conversation to whatsapp and disappeared from Hinge, we wrote on and off for about 3 weeks. He stated that he was an US army man stationed in Afganistan, but soon off to Syria on a dangerous mission. Being romantic he wanted to send a package, that soon after got optained by customs in turkey and needed to be paid 1000€ to be released.
