Thank you so much for this site...I am so glad I found you...I was taken in by a man Donald Cox alias (Donald Gray Hot mail address) whom contacted me on MySpace...His letters were beautiful and had me walking around in an absolute daze..He told me he had lost his wife about two years ago...he had a son named Phillip..and his Dad was in a wheelchair, His dad was taking care of Phillip whilst Donald was on deployment in Iraq...Donald told me that he was an electrical Engineer For the Us Army and stationed at camp Victory...Iraq
Donald had said to me...he was going to be deployed to Pakistan...He asked me to write a letter...to Commandant Lt Col Robert G requesting leave...I completed this request and leave was granted to him the following week...This is the email address that he requested that I send it too [email protected] Donald told me...he had to fly to the Us..to access his bank account...as he was tired of being hacked and didn't have internet banking...He would then fly to Australia to be with me for 6 weeks and return to the states to be with Phillip for the last week of his leave...and plan for his retirement..he asked me if I could fund the sum of $5,000 Australian dollars...I couldn't do it on my own...so I went to the bank and told them I needed the money for home improvements...I was restless and decided to run a Google search on Donald Cox...I thank the lord I found your site...as I was going out tomorrow morning to pay the money to Donald via Western Union transfer...The address that was given for western union transfer ...This was supposedly a woman whom organised the flights for the Us army...Janita May...United States of America...Kansas...Zip Code: 66606.....
Thank you very much to all the people whom have written in about Donald...as I was to be his next victim...he will get nothing from me thanks to you guys...I am ever so grateful...be very careful people this guy is a smooth talker...and he always uses calles you Babe I guess this is so he doesn't confuse your name with anyone else...
Thanks Guys..For this site...If this letter save just one person...It's all worth while...
I would just like to add...Just one more piece of information...The address Donald gave me as a header to request leave...

Watch out Guys...This Guy is still out there...I had an email from Donald Cox ( Alias Donald Gray ) this morning...08/06/2013 Subject on the email said News...I didn't even bother opening it...I did however run an email tracer over the email...It said the email was sent from Bulgaria...Loop back...The email is now in the trash where it belongs..

Welcome!

I'm glad you caught on before you lost any money to this scammer, even though I know it is still very upsetting to learn that someone you had grown to trust was lying to you all along.

Please see the link in my signature line for next steps now that you have learned he was a scammer. Cutting off contact is very important, as he will keep trying to scam you.

Just to make it clear--when it comes to American soldiers:
-They can in fact access their money.
-Someone outside cannot request leave or anything else for them.
-Leave is not paid for
-The US military doesn't transact business by Western Union
-Official US military addresses end in .mil Soldiers are given official addresses. Other addresses are not real US military addresses.

So if you are communicating with someone who says he is in the American military:
If he asks you to fill out any kind of request for him, he is a scammer (doesn't matter if the request is for leave, phone, or anything else.)
If he cannot write to you and receive email from you using an official army address, he is a scammer.
If he claims he cannot access his money, he is a scammer.
If Western Union or Moneygram come up for any reason, he is a scammer.
If he

Welcome to ScamWarners sweet64. I am sorry you got scammed, even if you didn't lose money, it hurts your emotions and heart.

Unfortunately, scammers do all kinds of damage all in their quest to get money from the unsuspecting and trusting. The pretend to care, but it is only money they are after. Everything else is a lie.

Please don't tell the scammer you read about him here. That will only help him to be a more educated scammer. Just stop communicating with him. If you have information which is different from what is posted here, please post that information. It will help someone else too.

If you need help disengaging from the scammer let us know.

Welcome to ScamWarners sgt_sweetie , I am sorry to hear that you were scammed and lost money to the scammer. Sas it the scam email address as posted above?

I encourage you to stop communicating with the scammer. I don't know what kind of stumble you think the scammer will do. He will not ever give you your money back. He will deny that he did anything wrong.

All he will be doing is looking for an opening to take more money from you. That is what scammers do, they lie to take your money from you.
