I have already post this on another thread, but thought I should put it on here under Romance scams. Since I have found out this is a scam, I look very closely at the profiles on Match.com and i must say there are alot of profiles that are just not right, just by looking at where they are from eg: Albany, Australian Capital Territory
Australia, there is not such suburb in the ACT. And if they give you their email straight away , as they are not going to stay oon the site much longer, don't give them yours, always talk through the dating site till you are sure it is real, but still be careful, Lucky I was smart enought to realize it was a scam.
I meet this guy (Steve Campbell, email [email protected]) on Match.com. he says he lives in Australia, but is in afghanistan with the Australian Amry, we have been talking for a week online now, but he says he would like to ring me, but I will have to email the gen and make a request and that there will be charges that will be refunded after the call, all of this was said on yahoo chat.
Here is a email he sent me.
