William Bamsey Parcel Scam

Another nigerian black scammer posting as white male in dating site, below are emails received and fake photos used by this idiot, now that I also learnt that scammer actually use footage of cam (recording others cam video and show it as if it is shown from their webcam), and i am afraid they even recorded my cam.
In short: he claimed to send a BIG GIFT parcel even filled with million cash (haha) to me, then his partner acted as a "carrier guy" called n told u this parcel was detained in Dubai and need you to send cash to redeem it.this courier company does not exist, the email ip was sent out from Malaysia, this scammer is in Malaysia using student visa to do scam business.

Don't be too worried about the scammer seeing you on webcam. When scammers pose as a female, they usually use footage from scantily clad professional models found on their websites.

i m not sure what's the redirect number +44 - 70 ...., is this so they can avoid being tracked on phone?
just too many scammers at the dating sites, i wonder is there a better way to warn all people especially those who might not be computer savvy to search for information about scammers.

Welcome to Scamwarners. It's very unlikely you will receive anything so there's no reason to be worried. I expect a fake email from "Customs" asking for payment by Western Union before the package can be released. You may get something low value like flowers paid for with stolen credit card details, but that's rare and nothing to worry about.

i received the same scam & same ym conversation as clng1982 posted on 23 dec 2011. the scammer use "Mike Hirst" as his name this time from Canada but lives in UK working with Caltex UK..was spotted me at tagged. I give him my office address as he say he wanted to send me gift.

You won't receive a parcel tomorrow.

The shipping company is fake. You will not need to accept or refuse anything, as there is no parcel containing those items.

What will happen instead is that you will receive an email or a phone call saying that your package is stuck in customs (or somewhere else), and in order to receive it, you must pay a fee of some kind. Or there will be a problem with the payment check, so the (nonexistent) package will be on hold until you pay for the shipping. Just drop all contact with the scammer and his fake shipping company.
