Met a guy on a gay dating website who immediately invited me to Google Hangouts where he claimed his name was Patrick Scott. He sent me a picture. I know the difference between US Army fatigues and US Marine fatigues. Besides, right on the lapel it's embroidered: MARINES, while on the other side lapel is embroidered the soldier's last name: McGuie*****. Right away, I knew this was a gay military romance scam. When I asked the guy: "Are you an Army brat?" He replied, "Yes, I am. I've been in the US Army for 8 years." A bold-faced lie.
I cut it off right then and there. Here's the photo in case you come across it.
