IP Address Question/Someone Knowledgable Pls Reply

There is a potential scammer from Poland with a yahoo.de email address. When he emails me from Poland his dynamic IP addresses vary but ALWAYS originate from Poland. Recently he was working in Malta and his emails' IP addresses originated from Malta. I got an email from him today claiming he had returned to Poland two days ago but his IP address originated from Malta. Does that mean he is still in Malta or is there any possibility that he emailed me from Poland?

There is no plausible reason for him to lie about his return to Poland as it has no bearing whatsoever on our correspondence. But it would prove that he is a compulsive liar and is so in the habit of not telling the truth that he lies even when there's no need to.

Please respond.

If a scammer claims to be travelling, it's almost certain that he's lying. One possibility that he used a Maltese proxy to give the impression he was in Malta, and forgot to switch back after his claimed return to Poland.

From my understanding, you are out of luck if the individual is using gmail. As gmail will not show the originating ip. In this case, the source IP address is 209.85.160.180. Which is more than likely gmails locality.
The sender is not in Australia because the timestamp says different. Is -0700 PDT related to US time?
I'm no expert on headers but 2 of the lines don't look correct and are probably forged.
There is a trippm49 with a yahoo address and shows an image of an individual wearing grey coloured clothing. But interestingly on the very next page it says the person you have searched for either does not exist or has chosen to hide his profile.
All slightly confusing but hope that helps somewhat.

Thank Jolly Roger and Katharina...both of you helped confirmed my suspicion. the emails between us were supposed to be answers and questions. But he never answered my questions. He always started with a new piece of email and blabbered things that I did not asked.

I found that the scammers are getting smarter and they are starting to use gmail address. I found another scammer in be2.com (which I am very sure of because) who used Jack Nicholson's photo and has a gmail address.

Hi charlie77, the scammer is using ready-made scripts he has copied from websites with samples of love letters and has saved them in a folder.

If you like, post an email he sent you and I can try to find out where he copied it from.

I have been receiving emails from one [email protected]. He fits a profile of Donald on another blog here. I am wondering if I can do anything about this man. Obviously reporting him doesn't work as he is still at it. I would like to be able to do something besides just ignoring him.
As well, from what I have gathered through the dating site Be2 99% of the men on there are scamming. I am not sure if it is because it is a new site and they are not able to filter or if they are actually part of the problem. I have written to them several times and gotten no reply from them. I have reported those who are scamming and they have not blocked them.
Many of them are so blatant that they use the same picture and open new profiles!
When I first joined the site I must have received about 20 emails from men who were engineers in the field of oil and or gas and were widowers.

I am an environmental analyst / oil and gas engineer. I earned my degree in the University of Liverpool, in Liverpool UK in 1984, but got my MBA in 2007 at the Oxford university. A Country among them called Nigeria economy has a larger economy than the combined GDP of all other ECOWAS countries, with a GDP of $78 billion. In 2005, the Community's economies grew at a combined weighted average rate of 5.0 percent. However, substantial external debt within individual states remains one of ECOWAS’ greatest challenges. In addition, internal strife has adversely affected economic performance in several states.

In 1994, ECOWAS’ Francophone members Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo, with Lusophone Guinea Bissau, created the West African Monetary Union (UEMOA) in Senegal. I am presently in London UK and I had to travel down to purchase mechanical parts for an agricultural cooperative and will be here for a weeks. The project would involve bringing equipment to Canada / America that would be used to make the proper adaptations to the current technology, so gas stations can sell gas with more than 10% ethanol.
