I am wondering if anyone here has had contact with a man going by the name of Abraham Denny. He claims to have been born in Denmark but holds duel citizenship with the U.S.A. He says he is now in the U.N. Army stationed in Tanzania. Supposedly his wife and only son were killed in a drunk driving fatal collison about 3 years ago in Iowa while he was stationed abroad. He claims to have lots of guilt because he was not there at the time. He says after the deaths of his family he signed up for a "suicide" mission in Africa and has no other family and didn't even list a next of kin on his service records. He falls madly in love quickly and then says he MUST get out of this assignment because now he "has something to live for". Then comes the request for money as he needs a lawyer to secure his discharge papers as his tour of duty is not up. When that request was refused he became quite angry and "disappointed in me". He became very insistant. He then practically demanded money so I could now be listed as his next of kin because I am "the only one he can trust" and said soonafterward I would receive a lot of his money that he can't access from his bank because he is in Africa. He provided a picture of who he says he is and even a younger picture of "himself". He contacted me through FaceBook and used the email address of [email protected] Don't send money. The whole thing just got smelling fishier as it went on. Beware and don't be taken in by his scam!!!
