i too have been scammed by some going by the name of sgt jones juston sent me photos and wonderful email and he first contacted me through face book ask me to send money for a call card so we could speak and i did
when he rang he did not sound the way i though not american thats for sure i asked him about it he said he was half american and half Arabic but he sounded African and then ask me to send more money so he could get a leave request in i knew then i had been played with and hurt badly by their lies
watch out for him

i am in a world of pain from someone pretending to be a us solider on peacekeeping mission
in LIBYA we have been speaking for two moths when he asked my to send money ti get a calling card
he said that he could not access his money or pay due to where he was
he sent me over 8 photos of a man in uniform and civvies All the same guy so i thought he was real
i sent the money only yesterday he did call me and i was shock by his voice accent it was not quite right
he said he was half american and half ARABIC but he sound African to me.
then hes said if i wanted to see him i would have to send $1800 to pay for his leave application
i knew something was wrong them
look out for this guy on face book and yahoo messenger goes by the mane Sgt jones juston
and the email for the call card is [email protected]
they are very good at lie to you i thought i was in love but now in a world of pain

If you just transferred the money, you may be able to get the transfer reversed. You can call 1-800-448-1492 to see if the transfer was picked up already. If not, you have some hope of reversing the transfer.

Stop communicating with the scammer. Don't tell him what you know, just drop out of communication with him. Nothing good will come from staying in contact with him.

Was also contacted by Jordan Wilson on Facebook. His photos were also posted here by another person he scammed or attempted to scam. Are these people working together or is it one scammer?????????? This needs to be put to an end. Report these frauds to customer care of any site you find them on.

Communicated with same guy. I was fortunate enough to find these postings before sending money. He wanted $400 for phone card and $4000 for leave. Also using name Simon. [email protected]. He is contacting ladies through dating sites and pretending to fall in love with them. Catch him the sites and report his actions to those sites. That's what I'm doing. This needs to stop.

Some scammers work with others. Some are "lone wolves".

While I understand your frustration and desire to do something about scammers on sites like Facebook. I understand thinking that reporting the profiles hurts the scammer. Actually, it does not phase the scammer at all. They just open a new profile and often use the same name. They see being closed down as an "occupational hazard" and they plan for it.

What does happen when fake profiles are closed, we lose a handle on the scammer because they DO return, but with different information. We ask you not to close email accounts or profiles.

I am 37 years of age and very easy going,I have been in the us army for over 19 yrs now and I find it so interesting to work here because I get to help and serve my country,Even tho working as SOLDIER far away from home is so difficult as I miss home and everything back there, I have a son and he's name is Wayne and he's 4 yrs old got divorced because he's mom was into pills and did drugs which made her misbehave by sleeping with folks and messing herself around with different men...I had to file a divorce which made me took sole custody of my son because I didn't want him growing under such influence...well and that was about 2 yrs ago I am over her and what I am here for now is to build a relationship,and meeting you made me feel good because I wasn't sure you where gonna respond back to my message,due to you don't know me...I know you might be wondering how I got your profile id,I saw your profile on my page as people you may know so I decided to look through your profile and I liked what I saw and that's why I messaged you glad you wrote back...

The truth is, there is no child. That is all part of the story to get you to get emotionally attached to the lies they are telling you. Just as he is not in the military, he has no child which fits the description he has given you.

One thing to remember: Scammers lie. If in doubt, remember this rule scammers lie.
