He may not think you are stupid. He is hoping that the "relationship" you have had with him over the 5 months will blind you and you won't check any details of what he says.

Please follow the advice of John Delaney and stop communicating with him. Delete him from your friends list and do not respond to any messages he might send you.

No matter what he says, he is only trying to get money from you. Do not tell him you know he is a scammer because that will help him improve his craft and ability to scam others. I am glad you checked with us.
