Early october 2011, on the dating site LAVALIFE, within 24hrs time frame around 10 military tried to contact me. I did exchange with a couple of them:

I was so nice to have you on my chating list, I'm just out of words because a friend radioed me, telling me about the website after i told him about how single I was going to be when we go back to the States after this peace keeping mission . I was a bit intrigued at first sight but I gave it a deep thought after that night of patrol and concluded it was worth trying so I gave it a shot. This was what ended me up here on lavalife dating.lol
A bit about me and my work if you don't mind.I was born in United state. New Jersey. I'm a platoon leader of 24 soldiers here and i am a part of the military police squad too. My work is to take care of the paper works and radioing other units about any new development concerning our mission here in Afghanistan. I'm the first person to set leg at the war field whenever we're flown to another war-field to control whatever activities going on there. I'm also the last to take off when mission is carried out without any ill-contingencies.
My platoon also takes care of the C6 machine-guns which I'm to account for whenever amour distributions is made to the soldiers in my platoon. I'm also a staff of C6 staff. I've been in Afghanistan for the past 18months now and when i come back home i will be retiring. i will be home in 2 months time.I just dont wont to die lonely after retiring that is why i am looking for some to involve my self with. I have a daughter who is schooling in the united kingdom.Her mother and i were married but we divorce when i find out she was cheating on me. she made me know that she's in love with another man so I had to pull back. But am ever ready to involve my self with someone who is ready to be in a long term relationship, she should be honest, open and caring
She also made me understand that she didn't want to date someone who might die during a war at the cost of a peace-keeping mission. I do have one Sister in the States right now but she married with someone and i dont know where she is now since i have been a way for long . My ex-fiance used to be part but after we parted during my first recruitment into the US army. I guess this tells you a bit about my life but don't hesitate to ask any questions if you wish to know more about me.
My reason for getting on the dating site is to find that special woman that I could spend the rest of my life with after this peace-keeping mission is over. I would like to know more about you. I would be glad if you make suggestions as to how, we should take this whole thing. I want you to tell me about you and your reasons for getting on the dating site. I have to take care of a paper work now so that it could be faxed back to another military base. I will wrap it up for now.
