I found a gril from Ghana on a dating site

And we are now talking on msn , she sent me 5 pictures of her and she looks very attractive and she is saying things like she likes me a lot and that she keeps my picture on my phone i have sent her so she misses me less.

We known each other now for only 3 days and on the 1st day we talked a lot and we got to know each other she told me many personal things about her , that she goes to the gym , plays tv games what type of music , movie all that jazz.

Anyway on day 2 she came up with telling me that her internet will be cut if she cant pay it today (day3) and she wants me to send her 200 euros which is HALF of the bill to pay and she said the other half will be paid by her friend which she lives with.

Its kinda clever , first seduce me and than say something like this this so i would do ANYTHING just to keep talking to her.I was smart enough to google and do some research and i noticed a lot of scammers are from Ghana.

Question is if she is even really t he person in the pictures she sent me.


I just want to hear opinions from people and confirm me that i am right that its a scam.

As "she" is asking you for money, it's a scam. The picture will have been stolen from the Internet somewhere, and it's unlikely that the scammer is female.
Can you quote "her" email address please. And welcome to Scamwarners.

Its insane what would people say to you just to get money

Yes Knap, there is no end to their silly stories I'm afraid. Thankyou for posting this because it will save someone in the future. People will read your report and far less likely to have their fingers burnt. Just adding to Arnolds comment, you can also check any email headers for the origin if the header hasn't been tampered with in transit. Also the dating site in question should have a scam warning page or some such advising of these matters. If there is a forum type page on the site, perhaps start a thread there to warn other members, perhaps? I'm afraid this so called internet dating is just a complete waste of bloody time

"She" is not even a female. The person writing you is most likely a young African male.

The person in the photo you posted is Raven Riley, an American internet porn actress. Scammers frequently use her likeness because they can download thousands of photos of her from her website and other porn sites, and they can even download video of her in order to create fake webcam and convince victims they are really communicating with her.

The real Raven Riley has nothing to do with the scammers, of course.
