Army from Afghanistan

I would like to share this information of a scammer so that everyone could be aware.

I am positive that I am being scammed..he introduced himself using the facebook as Col. Scott Hillary, a US Army currently in Afghanistan

Here is his first introduction...from Scott Hillary

just a little about myself dear...l i got two great kids, Barry and Roncy... 11 year and 9 years of age both of them..i was Born on November 2, 1970.. i am currently single and i am in the US Army currently in Afghanistan now, a Colonel by rank and lost my ex wife some years ago to cancer.... live alone and have my own house with a big pool at the back of my resident in woodland Hills CA..... i am simple caring, loving, honest, caring, loving, snuggles, has humor, I like to go to the movies, going to beach, taking walks, going to the mountains, and spending a lot of family time together.... i have the desire in doing shopping when ever i am free and love to get some stuff for my kids and myself.... a cup of strawberry Ice Cream will always make it all when we are all out... well it more easy when you get to do the asking and i do the talking... just let me know what you would want to know about me and i let you know it all dear


as time goes on..he asked me for my cellphone to be registered to the satellite phone so we could make a call ..from Scott Hillary

thanks for the cell phone number... but like i have said you need to get your cell phone registered to my satellite phone here so we can both call and send sms to my satellite phone... it means you simple have you cell phone registered before we can both make calls ... and as soon as the registration is done we both start making free calls without payment.... the only payment that have to be made is for the cell phone registration


this time he was giving me the first instruction on how to register the sat phone...message from Scott Hillary..

ohh.. is just because i am in Afghan and i do make use of satellite phone here.. i can only make calls to registered cell phone number ... and as soon as your cell phone is registered and connected to my sat phone... we both don't have to make payment for call we make... as all call will be totally free....the only payment that have to be made if for the cell phone registration ...

I am interested in the satphoneuplink.com domain--I can't research it right now, but it is very likely that it is a fake, created by the scammers to make them look more realistic--in which case our site killers will be very interested. Did you receive any emails from an address at satphoneuplink.com? If so, can you post them here, including headers (remove your email address first)? That will help our site killers to get it killed if appropriate.
