Love is an act of endless forgiveness a tender look which becomes a habit.
Love always opens it?s arms. If you close your arms about love you will find
that you are left holding only yourself. I do not know how to express or
analyze the conflicting emotions that have surged like a storm through my
heart all night long. I only know that first and foremost in all my thoughts
has been the overwhelming desire to love and to be loved, to find you, my
sweetest dream and my greatest hope http://myheartwithyou.in/
Waiting for your letter

As of yet I have only gone on the link, which appears fishy seeing as the date is this 20010-2011 and the website to join looks like it was done by a 9 year old :laugh-s: , http://iamforyou.info/register.php. Please check before anything else happens.

I have had 35 scam emails now, 32 have been paypal scams (which have not gained money as I checked on this site and the real paypal before clicking the link), and the rest random scams in chinese!

Moderator Note: I moved this sentence so it was not tangling up the information about the scammer. ~Bubbles

Welcome to ScamWarners James. I am not clear on what you are reporting. The domain the email address appears to come from is a legitimate business. The site has been registered since 1999 and is registered through 2012. Scammers don't do that.

It does look like the person you have received the message from may have hacked into the server and created a email address.

Please let us know how you came in contact with this person.

The website may very well be a way someone is using to get people's email addresses and other information.

I have sent you a PM.

Dear Bubbles
I have sent you a P.M reply on what I wanted to know and why I included information on the paypal scam. The email sent to me (see first post) was the first contact with the person, whether legitimate or not, so they do not have any other contact details from me. I do not know how they got my address in the first place, as wherever I give my email address out, soundcloud/facebook I always set it on private so only friends can see it. It just seemed fishy that they call me Willi when my name is James, and put 20010 instead of the date you have found the site to be created.
Thanks
James

Thank you for the PM and explanation.

Scammers have ways of generating email addresses to send their messages out and try to snare an unsuspecting person. That message was probably sent out to 5,000 email addresses. It is not personal to or at you.

It is great you keep your email address hidden so it does not become fodder for the scammers and spammers.

Regarding the question as to whether it is a scam. I searched two sentences from the email you received and came up with several pages of hits from "love poem" sites where these two sentences show up:
Love is an act of endless forgiveness a tender look which becomes a habit.
Love always opens it?s arms. If you close your arms about love you will find
that you are left holding only yourself.

Yes, scammers and spammers do hijack the email accounts of legitimate people and businesses because the email address will be shut down quickly.

I hope this helps! :D
