It was the topical marriage, love, your the on talking.. we write a hole lot of mails there about me and about him.. i had to nag him do give me his email address n it took a long time before i got i.. (its a Gmail n can not track the IP) he was telling me about his leave for Christmas, and that i had to go to the UK and sign his leave n get his war report done.. we where talking much about hooking up before he goes back to the us.. i told him that i was going to hungry. 14 days after his arrival in UK.. he wanted to meet me there, n he would wait in camp in UK in the meantime. . He told me later on that he needed to get some money to pay a processing fee to get his 2011pay and leave allowance. . He never asked me about the money, but he was claimed to be very upset whit this.. i told him that i was sorry, but i wouldn't help him in any way, and he said that that was ok, and i wouldn't ask be for any money.. i ask about the Hungarian trip, and how he would get the tickets, he assured me that it was his number one priority, and he promise to meet me there.. i got a little cold feet n was thinking that this was a scam, n i started to give him the cold shoulder n acting up on him that this was a stupid idea n that i didn't trust him.. he was worried n ask what he could do to prove otherwise, n that he would be very upset if he lost me.. I'm the one bla bla. ..

No idea of a site that would let you check on military people, but just looking at what you've written, why would a soldier need to pay money to receive his pay?
He sounds like yet another scammer using a US soldier's name as a scamming tool.
You might get a hit if you just google his name, if its been used by a number of scammers then you might get a hit.
As an example I put 'Sgt. John Samuel' into www.google.co.uk
The first response was a reference to www.419baiter.com, he is also known at www.419eater.com

If he really is in the UK then he'd have no problem in sending you a photo of himself holding a copy of today's newspaper. If he tries to dodge the idea, then he is 100% a scammer, if he sends you a photoshopped picture, same again.

A scammer, why would he have to shell out to collect his pay?
If he really wants to prove himself, he'd be able to send you a photo of him holding today's newspaper.
You could try and google his name,
I tried : Sgt. John Samuel
a known scammer, and got hits at two sites.

You'd do well to ban him from your email receipt list and steer well clear of him.
To the best of my knowledge there are no lists you can check, you might also see if he is on Facebook.

He he,that was a good idea.. i emailed him the instructions; )
I've tried the googel 100 times, but nothing comes up, last name, first name ++ I've been up n down Facebook n he has two Facebook profiles. . One in uniform whit 4 friends n that haven't been active for a loong time, and he have one in a Jersey whit 41 friend, n it looks to be activ.. I've also checked Facebook,Google to try to find a soldier by the last name so i can see if pictures n name has been stolen, but it all runs back to the profile pictures / profiles i found..

He called me once n he spoke good American whit a bit of south accent.. his from Idaho..

I played with the Inspectors information above and see how far it goes using chunks of message text. You can do this too.

Enough said here below. The "mouldy suitcase of money" scam.
Hi,
My name is Sgt John Samuel serving the U.S. ARMY and my World
country in the most honorable way I know I can, in IRAQ right now, in
a nutshell, I am an American soldier serving in the Military with the
Army 3rd infantry division. With a very desperate need for assistance,
I found your contact particulars during my search and email picked up
courage to contact you for your assistance.

Some money in various currencies were discovered in a room at a farm
house near one of Saddam's old palaces in Tikrit-Iraq during a rescue
operation, I happened to be one of the soldiers that did lead
operation that day so it was agreed by the General Edward Ballanco
head of our battalion that some part of this money will be shared among
both of us before informing anybody about it since both of us saw the
money first. This was quite an illegal thing to do, but I tell you what?
No compensation can make up for the risk we have taken with our lives
in this hell hole, my brother in-law was killed by a roadside bomb just
few months ago, and I can not count how many times GOD has saved
my life down here. I would like you to read the article below so you can
confirm what I am saying.
