I also spoke with this scammer via text message on a phone with a number that was local in my area and verbally through a couple of telephone conversations from the same phone number. His story was that he was widowed with 2 sons, ages 7 and 4, whose wife had died in childbirth while having their second baby. He said that he is a construction engineer and a crude oil merchant. He also said that he had lived in England for a long time, then in West Virginia, and finally moved to Texas to be near his paretns after the death of his wife. He stated that he also went to University of Liverpool for college. When I spoke with him on the telephone, I knew instantly that his accent was off. It sounded nothing like a Brithish accent. It definitely sounded like an African accent. I spoke with him twice on the phone, and both times, he disconnected when some strange background noises started happening, and he never would answer my questions about the background noises. Also, when I did an Internet search on some of the phrasing used in his first email to me, I found it coming up on several different scammer websites. Today, he told me supposedly he was going on a business trip to purchase some raw crude oil for a client. I simply told him that the jig was up...I have been attempted scammed before, and he will not put anything over on me. He has not repled to me since receiving that text. Thanks!

Hey ladies Our favorite Dallas Crude oil merchant , James Hunter, is still out there. And he didn't get me either. Poor baby!! I googled the address he gave me to wire the money and there was actually a real estate listing for it...a vacant lot. I called his hand. Told him sure I would send the money as soon as I got his Texas driver license number, the date it expired and a picture of his passport. Poof he vanished. This is a wonderful site thanks to all who make it possible.
