How are you doing, hope your day has been great so far? Thanks for your friendship so far, I really appreciate you wanting to get to know me better. I know we're just getting to know each other, and understand your curiosity to know more about me. So just to be sure we really get to know ourselves properly, I decided to write you this letter to fill you in on both things you might already know through my profile, and few communications, and those you do not.
now somethings about me
I am a retired police officer of the Troy pd, Michigan, and right now
I own a business that has to do with security, and security tech innovations. Pretty much has to do with security softwares, and engineering. I have two homes in the US, one in Shelby Michigan, and the other in Buffalo, where my mom lives. I recently just moved down here for a security job I have been running for the past 8 months on a contract basis. I have two sons, Jay 27,the paleontologist, and science obsessed, always traveling for their archaeological dinosaur thing and Michael 15 in high school. I was divorced for 9 years, and then lost their mom in an accident. I grew up in Buffalo NY, and left for Michigan at the age of 14 years old, and completed my high school there (Lamphere High), went to Oakland community college, MI state university, North western university and the University of North Florida. Wheeew!!! That was so much pouring out right? Lol...
I have an Italian origin, as my dad was Italian, and mom's Hispanic so I have a little accent. I embraced more of my Spanish side since I was raised by my mother, and I was never really close to my dad. I am contented with my life so far, I have very few but very close friends and my friends say am warm, receptive, generous, could be wittily funny at times, a bit of sarcasm also, and i think i am pretty interesting. They also say it will be very difficult for me to meet a woman like me, because it will be difficult to meet someone who has the kind of heart I do, but if I do, she will be a very lucky woman. I have had my heart broken a few times, will probably tell you about it sometime, which has made it difficult for me to trust initially. I
promise you though that I am the most open hearted, and loving, and trusting person once I trust someone. Right now I am not in any relationship and my heart Is open and ready to welcome yours.. I love my new job so much because of the creativity in it, and I travel quite a bit for supplies, or contracts but take my vacation whenever I like and the best place I've enjoyed traveling to is Aruba because of the beach and the lovely weather there, the spa, and the whole tropical life and feeling of nature there.Usually, I am a very cautious person and it takes a long time for me to fully trust people. However, when I have trust in someone (not very often), it becomes a totally different relationship and I can just give a whole lot to the other. I have few friends, but all very close ones. People who know me well enough say that I am a very intelligent person, very caring for the others and very generous. My close friends say that on the first meeting I impress a lot, but some people often feel that I am not a very easy person. However, when they know me better, they realize that on the contrary, I am very easy going - but only with people I enjoy. If not, I prefer to keep the distance. My very close friend says that the girl I will decide to marry will probably be one of the most happy and lucky person... but they also say that they are not sure she will find me!!!! For me to appreciate a woman, she needs to be very honest,intelligent and ambitious. I don't like pretentious people or people that claim a lot of things which they don't really know about. However, I don't worry about waiting to find the right person, because I know that when I meet her, I will know very fast that she is the right one, and hopefully that will be a unique relationship lasting for the whole life time... so a few years of waiting is not a problem for me! Why am I telling you this? Because I would very much like to develop our relations.
I'm not the type that stew over things for long.. I prefer voicing out my feelings(good or bad), although I may wait while to do so depending on the type of mood I am. I value peace in my life and I try to stay away from things that don't give me peace of mind. When something makes me feel frustrated, I focus on the solution and what God is trying to teach me from it.
I don't think you have to shout and curse at someone out to make your point and I definitely don't believe in acting out violently (I don't
support hitting regardless of which gender). Hate it especially because of how I watched my dad treat my mom before they got separated while growing up, and I taught my boys never to hit, or curse at a woman. I have been told I can give a silent look that has the same
effect as being screamed at or cursed at. I'm definitely not a wallflower. Also I am very good at not losing control when I face a tough situation. I stay clam and try to resolve conflicts peacefully. Most times, I try to resolve issues right when they happen, but I understand sometimes people need time to think things through. So I am patient and seek God's guidance. I think I'm pretty balanced. I'm probably most emotional when it comes
to my mother. I'm very protective towards her. And I also take care of her as much as I can. I love to be affectionate and make the other
person feel loved. I am not 'emotional' in the sense that I wouldn't lose control in a situation or let my emotions take control of me. But I like to show my emotions such as admiration, encouragement, love, tenderness and physical attraction.
I'm usually very happy having love, health, peace, and the joy. I'm way past the materialistic stuff because there's not much that I want
materially that I don't already have. What I can't buy is peace, love, time, etc. These are the things that I look forward to having most. Having love, health, peace, joy and God makes me very happy. There are some questions i will love to get answers from you.

I travel for work purposes sometimes, can you handle it?
