can anyone tell me where these scammers get there military photos from
There is no one place for military photos. They are everywhere, and easy for scammers to steal. They may take them from the soldiers' personal pages on Facebook, myspace, photobucket, or any photo sharing or social networking site. Sometimes they even use photos of top military officials taken from wikipedia or news stories.
Just google "US soldier photo" and see how easy it is to find photos to use.
