Scammer: [email protected]

I was contacted by an individual with the screen name of: PUREHEART and was on Rainbow Christians and OhMojo dating sites. The email address that he gave in his profile was: [email protected] ! He responded to my profile with several greetings over a period of time! I finally responded by my letter to him at the above address! Had about a two to three week period of writing back and forth! I became suspicious because there were times when I asked certain questions and he seem to evade them! They were very important questions! He sent me a few photos, and after a period of time I sent him a photo of myself! After a period of time I began feeling emotionally enamoured with him and he claimed to me! I was beginning to like him very much and thought he was serious in his feelings toward me!

At the same time, I also began having some reservations because of his evading certain questions which I wanted to know! I was begining to feel that he was not being honest with me! I also noticed that at times it seemed like two individuals were writing me emails! Some emails seemed to have grammar and typo errors and the speech was not polished! Then there were some emails that had no typo or grammar errors and seemed quite eloquent in speech and seemed like they were more educated!

After a period of time I did some researching and found the "scamwarners" website and others and I found complaints against him with the same email address! I later found out that the first name was Michael Rios! In addition, I was talking to several individuals that have told me that they had dealings with him! So I began to believe that he was lying about a number of things! I am now quite certain that he is a scammer! I have finally terminated any further communications! I have a number of emails, photos, and screen shots of his profile on both Rainbow Christians and OhMojo! I really wish to have this person investiated if possible, plus more if possible but do not know who turn to for help! In addition, I am also concerned that all the photos could have been not of himself, but could possibly been stolen identity of a soldier that may have served in Iraq or Afghanistan! If they are not of him, I am concerned that he has stolen the identity of someone else!

Sorry to hear this scammer targeted you. The truth is he is not a soldier but actually a black man from West Africa. Everything he told you was a lie in an attempt to steal your money. He did steal a real soldiers pictures from the Internet but unfortunately there is little that can be done. It's the risk you take when you put your pictures on the Internet. There may even be several scammers using them.

It would be helpful to post a couple of his initial emails to you here. Victims he is targeting may search parts of the emails along with the other information you posted. This will help others avoid this scammer.
