hi im new and i think someone is trying to scam me :( i met him on tagged.com and requested me to add him on yahoo which i have done his id is a.willy93 and email [email protected] he claims to be a colonel in the us. army posted in iraq . tonight her request me to post for leave on his behalf

Yes it is a scam. If you type military scam into the site search function at the top of this page, the results will amaze you. Please try and read as many as you can to become familiar with the format.
It would also be a great idea to stop dialogue with the fraudulent individual with immediate effect.
Thankyou for posting the scammer name and address because others can be saved in future.

Hello rebecca39!

Yes 100% a scam you were right to be suspicious. Private citizens cannot request leave for soldiers and it is not something that the soldier or their family pays for. Leave is awarded by their commanding oficer on a basis of merit.

Stop all communications with the scammer and he will eventually go away. Thanks for posting his info it will help others.
