I am new to this site, but just wanted to report a scammer that my mom and I came across on Match.com.
Name: Patrick Renaud

Phone (still active as of this morning): 347-384-4871
Story: French widower living in Brooklyn, NY. Wife died of breat cancer 2 yrs ago, Engineer, 1 son named Michael

Once we realized he was a scammer, I did some research and told my mom just to break it off easy without giving away that she suspected he was a scammer. She decided, however, to tell him off. This morning, it look as though he had hacked into her profile and taken control of it. The profile has now been closed but there is a chance that he contacted someone today with a similar email as the one he caught us with ("I am getting off match so email my personal address if you are interested", knowing that it would be cut off soon). The username he would have used would be 1afmurphy.
I have no idea how he hacked into the account, so if anyone can enlighten me, please do so. Is there anything else I should be worried about him hacking into? My mom already cancelled her credit card that she used for match.

My dad and mom relocated with me as i finished my school to United State because things was not going well for them in France my dad was once a College Teacher in France. I have been in the States since i was 24years old with my mom and dad be for they pass away long ago, now you know i am originally from French, the City of Paris i was the only child to parents like my son Micheal to me, i`m a Citizen of United States because i grow up here in the States where i spent much of my time and energy as a youth, i attend Paris University were i got my skill from as an engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built, i`m still working as a self employed civil engineering not retied yet, as a contractor i don`t work everyday, i own my office as home as you know now i`m self employed civil engineering. About my wife i was happily married for 29yrs with one son Micheal his 15years old and lives with me his good and kind, (i`m not looking for new mother for him OK). I lost my wife 2years ago by breast cancer quit a sad story it pains so much, she was from Houston, Texas and she was just like me only child to her parents and they have pass away also, she was good caring, understanding, with good faith in her always make me happy, after we married in Texas few years we relocated to Brooklyn NY. Here she pass away by breast cancer. Life they say is touch and go. Some people you know may only be there for a time. Some may go away but people who find you special will always find ways to stay forever.
