thanks for your short message i so much appreciate it,i am glad to tell you more about me as you have requested, i don't really know where to start from , but i think i have to start somewhere,. my names are , Alex Vahn, i was gladly married till the i got separated from my wife, early 2005, and in 2007 she died, it has not been so easy, my time has been filled with: making choices, finding myself, devotion to motherhood, my career, and building on friendships, making new ones, counting my blessings and facing the challenges that life has presented.

my father is from Canada, while my mum is from Scotland, but both are late,I am the only Son of my Parents. I'm a very proud Father of 1:handsome son :Kelvin 11yrs,. I was born 6 November 1962 (Scorpio) in Scotland,.


In 1988 I eventually flew the nest so to speak and moved from Tel-ford to Birmingham . Until then I truly felt that is where I belonged and where I would stay.

I was educated partly in Canada and always had high hopes of following my Fathers footsteps in joining the Civil engineering.

I enjoy most things, especially travel: Europe, and Worldwide, learning the culture of different countries. I have visited Japan, Morocco, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Bahamas, Turkey, Portugal, Greece, Germany, and Netherlands. and I also enjoy things like interior design,photography, swimming,music, cinema, theater, driving and whatever else 'is or sounds' like fun, enjoyment, an experience or even just....a giggle!
I also enjoy, gardening, cooking and spending time at home in the comfort of my 17th century cottage here .

In general I'm a diverse, creative, spontaneous, and tactile person and although i like the nice things in life, I'm not at all materialistic,I've worked very hard for what i do have and appreciate it.I hate to offend, can't abide hypocrisy, racism and people belittling others in public. I don't like conflict or relationships to be conditional, but would rather have a 'mutual understanding and respect' for each other. I don't mind constructive criticism and I believe in total honesty.

I am down to earth, caring, loving, and loyal person with morals and virtues of my own, yet fairly open minded, pretty easy going, witty,smart, and quite sassy at times..... I am quite humble and really appreciate the little things in life and that people do for me and that I am able to do for others. Nothing would give me more pleasure that to make someone feel special, loved and wanted and cared for. For the right woman i would give my all.

I cherish every moment of whatever i do, wherever i am, who ever it's with & I value all that I have.

i love good music ranging from soul, soft jazz, reggae, R&B, smooth groves, some country and some rock, and for food , i love good food as well, and love to try new recipes

And my work : I am a civil supply contractor, i love my job because i am independent of any company, but stand on my own,. and has given me a room to traveling much for contract.
