Let me take this opportunity to tell you more about my working career. I am the current Lt. Col. United States Army. I was sworn in as lieutenant colonel in the Army on 13 January 15, 2004. I serve as battalion commander, in command of approximately 400-500 men, I Michael Cole had held a variety of leadership positions in my career since Scout Cavalry Colonel and Command Sgt.
I am a native of Sweden and the U.S. dual citizen and educated at American Military University in Florida. I have been in the army for 33 years and now i am in Iraq as I write this, have been here for 10 months and will be back in 1 month time..
My most recent assignment was as the command of Colonel for the Combined Joint Task Force 7 serving in Baghdad, Iraq as an Army colonel, served as personal adviser to the Chief of the Army on all enlisted-related matters, particularly in areas affecting soldier training and quality of life. I spent most of my time traveling around the Army training observation, and talk to soldiers and their families. I sit on a variety of councils and boards that make decisions affecting soldiers and their families are invited to testify before Congress.
I entered the Army on 30 June 1975.I attended basic training and Advanced Individual Training Armor at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Throughout my career of 30 years, was recruited in every leadership position from cavalry scout and tank commander to my current position as Colonel. Other tasks that held as command sergeant major were 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division from Fort Hood, Texas, 3 "Gray Wolf" Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, and 1st Armored Division in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and the V Corps Heidelberg, Germany.
My basic education is not responsible for the course includes military officer, Colonel Advanced Course non-commissioned officer course, the First Sergeant Course, M1/M1A1 Tank Master Gunner Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Battle Staff officer course not, and American Academy Army colonel.
My awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit (w / oak leaves), the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (w / three clusters of oak leaves), Service Commendation Medal Joint Commendation Medal Army (w / four groups of oak leaves), Army Achievement Medal (w / two oak leaf clusters), Good Conduct Medal (nine awards), Service Medal National Defense (w / Bronze Star Service) The Service Medal Southwest Asia (w / Bronze Star service), Medal Kosovo Campaign (w / The Bronze Service Star) Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal ....... . I was officially married with a son and he was 8 when she had a car accident with my lovely wife 6 years ago on his way to the cinema, since then I have lived my life alone with such devotion to my service that has become part of my life and now I want to enter a new face of life after my retirement from the army way with a woman's care to call my own.
