If possible, could you post the introductory messages or emails this scammer sent when he approached you? They often reuse these scripts even after they change names, and can be extremely useful in helping others to realize they are dealing with a scammer.

I am a womanizing scammer
I roam the dating sites looking for Widows and other single foolish women. When I send them a flirt message I pour it on thick and these foolish women lap it up! It's such a joke! I get them to commit their undying love to me. I get them to chat on yahoo or service not in the dating site. And I pour on such gush that these idiot women are truly overwhelmed.

The key is that they can not find me on the internet anywhere. I am so sneaky that I use pictures of good looking men. I even change my own name as needed so that the identity i use can not be traced back to me.

Women are such fools!
