I started talking to him about a month ago. I met him on a dating website. He seemed like a very nice guy. However from the beginning his emails(which are the exact email verbatim of another victim) didnt make sense..such as he had left Italy at the age of 21 and struggled for the past 15 years.Which would make him 36 not 43 like he stated. He said he was a global contractor for oil and rig renovations(or something along those lines)He said he was in Florida.(Oil in Florida?)anyway..told me he loved me and we were engaged. He sent me an Easter card that said my firsy name with his last name..Kirkman..the card was sent from Greg Spivey.I asked why the different names. He said his mother named him Andrias Spivey Kirkman..but dad loved Greg. He also forgets to whom he is speaking too and will call you the wrong name. When questioned he had some lame excuse.I also had two different voice messages from him and both gentleman had diffrenent voices to which he blamed smoking stuff on.He then started asking me for money. He needed money for a lawyer to take care of something dealing with the death of hos business partner..supposedly Greg saw him on a Thursday and this guy saturday. On a monday he needed money because the forensics report was wrong.I questioned him as to how a forensics report could be done t quickly.no answer. He then started asking for money for his mom in England.Thought she lived in Italy.Anyway mom name was something totally different then what was told to me earlier. He said his moms name was tattoed on his chest. He asked a few more times for money..Once he asked after he told me he was afraid of my attitude.Ok insult me then ask for money.Basically yesterday I heard from him again a requesy for money.I told him no. He broke up with me saying that I was a hot tempered nag with an attitude problem.I said sorry you feel that way..take care of yourself.

Welcome to Scamwarners, prejoza!
I'm happy to read that you didn't lose any money to this scammer!
Would you please post the email address that he was using so that other potential victims using google can find it and hopefully not be scammed?

Very happy to be here.Thank you. The email in which Mr.Spivey(Kirkman) contacted me from [email protected]. Very romantic this fellow is.He likes to keep mentioning your name.Perhaps in an effort to remember to whom he is emailing. :laugh-s:
