Hi! I myself have almost been scammed by a man on match.com. Claimed he was a deployed solider in Afghanistan. I have been on this dating site for about 1 month and at least 6 men have been scammers. There are a few give aways 1. They always put ethnicity as NATIVE AMERICAN 2. Womens search Age range is usaually 35 to 60 while they state their age as 46 to 48. 3. City is LA or a wide area range 50 to 100 miles. Once they contact you their spelling is usually bad and they want you to contact them off site through private emails or IM's. If you can down load their profile picture try checking it with Google Imager. That is how I found out the pictures he sent were from a real solider but with a different name. Hope this helps! Because of this site I was able to meet a real guy on the dating site and avoid the scammers. Also it is not just us women men are getting scammed too. So dont post to many pictures of yourself and make them black & white pics if you do.
