This man is very suave and smooth and has gorgeous pictures on his profile. He goes by the name Mac, Demile Smith, or Martin Smith. He claims to be from Virginia but is currently working in Europe as a construction guru who builds banks. He claims to be a devout Christian and will preach and quote the bible.
His yahoo address is [email protected]. He is a little slower than most scam artists. He waited 2 days before asking me to create a Western Union account so he could send his sister in North Carolina her college tuition money. He claimed she couldn't create the account there cause her internet was too slow. I did create the account with all fake information under the name "URFNCrazy" LOL So then he asked if I got a confirmation e-mail with a code on it. I told him no. Of course I didn't because it was all fake info. He said well give me your username and password and I will log in and make the transaction. I told him the username was URFNcrazy and the password was biotch. LOL, he was quite miffed. It was quite hilarious. He got more and more excited every time I posted to him what page on Western Union I was completing. I must admit I took my sweet time to cause him more agony during the process. So a few days went by and I didn't hear from him. He messaged me back. We talked nonchalantly for a while then he started telling me about him dilemma here in SC with his construction team in need of emergency supplies, they had to have his signature to make the purchase, the inspectors were coming by on Thursday and they weren't ready because they were short supplies, could I please take or wire them $3000 so they can be ready for inspection. Of course I told him no and gave his a sob story about my financial hardship. Then he asked if I could borrow money from my office funds. When I told him that we don't access funds and all purchasing is done electroncially yada yada yada. His response was, "You never told me that?" I told him. "A very good scan artists would have already asked that question but I guess you are not as good as you think you are?" Other words were exchanged.
That was quite an experience and I enjoyed playing him like a fiddle while he thought he was playing me. I have a very strong sense of distrust for people so I was alerted this was a scam almost immediately. He too deleted his profile soon after we started talking but not before I reported his misconduct to them so they could get his information. Ladies beware he is very sweet lipped and makes promises to sweep you off of your feet. I am a former police officer so I can spot them when they come. I know not everyone can do that so please beware of them.
