Heres another one, hes talking to my 66 year old mother. Claims to be in Nigeria for work, his FaceBook profile says a company name that actually is in Nigeria so its a real company. He only has one friend on FB I contacted her she says they just started talking not romantically a few weeks ago. (yet anyways) In his emails he has a 9 year old son, claimed to be in love with my mother within a day of IM'ing. His son's birthday came in those few days and his son was crying for a gift from his new mommy so he asked for $300 for a new "banny" some special toy they could find for him he wanted. Come to find out after my mother sends $115 to him for it, its a freakin stuffed bunny with a pacifier onthe hand. or at least thats the picture he sends mom of the toy. He claims to be doing a job there, and will be getting paid $900,000 for the job at completion. He then proceeds to tell her he was mugged, but all they took was his phone. He needs $100 more to buy a phone and keep his number so he can continue to talk to her and hear her sweet voice. she sends it. But he sends her a picture of the phone he purchases and its a Samsung Galaxy smart phone, which upon googling is about a $200 phone online, no telling (if real) purchased instore without upgrade, much higher. So he scans her a copy of the Cashiers check they gave him for completion of the job. (he is in nigeria, and from california, working for a company based in Nigeria remember) the check was a cashiers check from Bank of America, has a check number and everything, says issued in Texas branch. (LOL) then its post dated for 25/5/2012. I call BoA (used to work in a bank) they see no information on a cashiers check with that number, and say that it is illegal to post date checks so no bank would issue a cashiers check with a post date on it.

The second image that you posted is also used by a scammer listed here viewtopic.php?f=13&p=95298 and is a stolen picture of a US actor/model called Marc Macleod.

Hopefully, if you can show that to your mother, it might convince her that he is another scammer.

I showed her everything I had accumulated, its funny when you find Mr. Macleod's profile on an agency page, it lists a video that he "performed" in, It was an actual NBC interview with a woman who had been victimized and was telling her story, showed the pictures the scammer sent her who were really Mr. Macleod's pictures. Then the reporter found Marc MacLeod and interviewed him and he is a happily married man, lol. Genius. I showed her that video and she beleives however emailed him and yet still is convinced he is a real person, that just "broke her heart" by lying to her, if only he would have told the truth! What that he is a scammer and just wants to get money from whomever he can? OMG sometimes..............I wont say it because she is my mother, just still.............
