I was talking to this man for over a year......all was awesome.....he told me he lived in Mira Lona California, was a engineer.....had a 12 year old daughter named Daisy.....he said his wife died giving birth to his daughter.....then all of a sudden he started asking for money.....and yes the fool i was i gave him money.....he said his daughter was sick and was stuck working out on the water and couldn't get in to get her any money......it didn't stop there......he was always asking for money for one thing or another.....yes i did finally clue in after i gave him 10,000 dollars american......you all dont have to say it....yes i'm stupid and nieve......i really thought it was all real......

Welcome to ScamWarners juliel. I am sorry you were tricked by this scammer. I want you to know you were NOT stupid. Scammers are good at what they do. Some do romance and groom their victims for months before asking for money. They say all the right words and get your sympathy to set you up for "the ask".

Sadly, thousands of people are hurt this way every month. Smart has nothing to do with it. Scammers exploit any way they can. It is a scourge on the internet.

Please post up the email address the scammer used and some of his messages, especially the early ones if you still have them. Do be kind to yourself.
