I am in the Army. I have been Regular Army (10 years - Airborne/Air ...ault Infantry) & National Guard (6 years - Cav Scout/Infantry). I have been to many places, most recently Iraq. I am suffering from PTSD due to my military adventures. I currently trying to straighten out my life. However, it is a lengthy process. I am part of a new program to try to 'rewire' my brain through counseling, therapy, groups, outings, exercise, and mental stuff. The outcome is to try to wean me off the drugs, to get me to be able to be near crowds without wanting to freek out, go to the mall, the movies, restaurants, deal with people without trying to kill them or fight them all the time. I am also deal with a mess up back and knees due to a roadside bomb that went off by our truck in Iraq awhile back. There was more damage than was originally found. So now I am dealing with that and the pain. I have a lot of friends from the military and from school. Even from high school back in the day. I love them all and would never trade them for anything. My mind is not right at times and this has caused problems with lots of people too. No sympathy folks, and if you have none, good. You are the people we have fought and bled for. So you can look down on us and go to your rallies and berate us and denounce us. Not a prob. Try doing that in someone else's country. It wouldn't happen. But hey, you all have the answers to everything, as you snort and smoke and inject your drugs. Then you get into power because your parents have money and you all have never worked. Politics is not work. Anyone can kiss ... and sukk dikk. Oh wait, that is politics. My bad. Anyways, I digress, I put my life on the line for this country, it's people, our way of life, but ultimately, for my Brothers and Sisters in the military, the Army, the units I have served in, the ones I/we have lost, & the ones I/we have saved. Oh and I tend to ramble. It happens. Gotta love me.
