i have this man Engle Lauseng using photos that are on other sites Chris Lauseng chris anderson and other places saying he is a soldier in the us army and he contacted me via facebook on the 11th of december 2012, he talks to me via yahoo messenger and is well i dont know what i am very confused he hasnt asked me for money he asked for my cell number and what kind of phone do i have, he says he is stationed in Kabul and has been there since feb of this year, he is widowed and 1 son or eight years old named jason. he says he is going to try to get leave after new year to come and see me and bring me to meet his mom and son. i feel so stupid i just happened to ask him his sons name this morning and he told me jason and that he had told me that before that i forgot but im a mom and i wouldnt forget that information so i googled his name and it came up as scam what do you suggest i do i dont know what is real.

There's no need to be snowy. The person you're dealing with is an imposter and scammer.

He is nothing to do with the US military and is actually an enemy of the US military, to put it bluntly.

The scammer is trying to take advantage of you romantically and abusing your sense of patriotism. You only have to read the evidence provided by ratt84 and others.

He will get round to money and/or electronics, maybe testing you out by asking for simple gifts first but he knows better than to ask immediately. If you never send him anything your relationship won't harm anyone, but it will never lead anywhere and he'll drop you when you don't pay up.

That's the blunt truth of the matter.
