Same name popped up on untrue.com dating website. Calls himself Sgt. Tim Wells (or Tim Chris Wells and stationed in Afghanistan. Using the SAT phone scam where he wants you to purchase a SAT phone for him so he can call you for US$455.00 with payment via Western Union. Traced the emails and they were either coming from Wayne, PA or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Email used was [email protected].
I also found a Facebook account under Wells Richmond that has some of the same photos he sent to me.
Here are pictures he sent me and further below is the first email he sent me (in case he was using a script, you might recognize the contents):

I hope that you had a great night?I had the greatest smile on my face before going for patrol this morning,i day dreamed on patrol.I have never talked with anyone online for so long like that but i am happy talking with you because you sound so different and interesting to me and something tells me that you are a great person and i want you to know that i would like to be a very good friend to you and lets see what the future will bring for us...I want us to take this step by step and nice and slow like i told you earlier i dont want to rush us into anything and rush out as we have been hurt and burned but i believe that you are different because talking with you last night and this morning my time made me know some few things about you that you didnt noticed..i noticed somethings about you and i know time will tell more better for us..

After a long chat online with you last night and this morning,I was inspired to write this about how just plain talking can help brighten your outlook and see some things in a different light. It was an excellent chat session and I feel that this poem summarizes it (and the feelings it gave me) pretty well.As we walk our path of life,We meet people everyday.Most are simply met by chance but, some are sent our way.These become special friends Whose bond we can't explain The ones who understand us And share our joy and pain.Their love contains no boundaries.So, even we are apart.Their presence enhances us With a warmth felt in the heart.This love becomes a passageway,When even the miles disappear.And so, these friends, God sends our way,Remain forever near.
Today I found a friend,Who knew everything I felt.She knew my every weakness,And the problems I've been dealt.She understood my wonders,And listened to my dreams.She listened to how I felt about life and love,And knew what it all means.Not once did she interrupt me,Or tell me I was wrong.She understood what I was going through,And promised she'd stay long I reached out to this friend To show her that i care To pull her close and let her know How much I need her there I went to hold her hand To pull her a bit nearer And realized that this perfect friend I found Was nothing but my mirror and this friend is you my new friend xxx.
You have been on my mind all day and when i went to the mass i light a candle for us and prayed to God to make this work for us if truly we are meant for each other..I know i have been asking God for him to send me the woman of my dream and i always believes in him that oneday that woman will surely come to my way and i can see some sign now because this time of my life has been different with smiles and happiness and during patrols my team mates noticed me and were asking me what is happening now in my life but i only told my best friend blair and my commander because they are the only people that really understand and know how i am feeling but just told me to be careful and never give up because they want the best for me.
