Well also met this guy on a version of cupid.com called Girls date for free. His very good with his approach. He states that he is a contractor working in Nigeria for a few weeks and that he lives in Los Angeles regularly. He is Not to aggressive and doesn't seem over zealous like most scammers. He does like to send poetry (which I've attached a sample) and is very smooth with his words.In fact he doesn't sound like English is his second language, so people be very careful. I traced his poetry back to sacammers.com and found that he sent the exact same thing to other women several years ago.

His email header states that the email comes from the US, but if you trace the individual IP addresses on google, they trace back to scamwarners website for other possible scams.
