i am Russian businessman and the main owner of the private investment company Mill house LLC.... In 2003 i was named Person of the Year by Expert, a Russian business magazine. i shared this title with Mikhail Khodorkovsky. and in outside Russia i am the owner of Chelsea Football Club, an English Premier League football team, and for my wider involvement in European football.
I am Born into a Jewish family of Latvian origins in the southern Russian city of Saratov. During the Second World War my grandfather and grandmother were forced to leave Latvia, only to be repressed in the USSR. my mother is a musician, died from a back-street abortion when i was only 18 months old. When i was three, my father died in an accident at a construction site where he worked as a supplier.
It was also in 1991 that I met my second wife, Irina, an air hostess at the time. i divorce in 2009, the reason why i divorce her is because when i am out of the country, she use to sleep with other men, and I feel been lonely is not the best for me.. six kids (5 with Malandina; 1 with Zhukova) my kids are with my mum okay. they are living fine and good
My investment in 1991 proved to be highly profitable and, making good use of the revenue, by 1995 I had opened five different companies, specializing in everything from oil to pig farms. In 1993, during a meeting of Russian businessmen in the Caribbean, I met Boris Tsiolkovsky, who quickly became my guide into the world of international oil.
It was also together with Berezovsky that I managed to gain full control of the previously government-owned oil giant Sibneft. They paid ?50 million for half of the company and rapidly turned it into billions. With hindsight, market analysts suggest that the true value of the company was much larger than what Berezovsky and I paid for it.
Yet, at the time, they were operating completely within of the laws of privatization. It was Sibneft that provided I with most of his wealth and brought him to the international market.
In 1999 I became the governor of the Chukka region in Russia's Far East,and my winning 92% of the votes. The eight years(from 17 January 2001 - 3 July 2008) i spent as governor of the region, I invested a substantial amount into the development of Chukka, undoubtedly raising the standard of living there.
