Hi sand. It's looking highly sus I'm sad to say.
So called internet dating site + military person means fraudulant scammer. Also the name cpl Jocelyn jones, has been mentioned previously within the forums. If you scroll to the top of this page to the site search function and type military scam, the results will amaze you. Sad to say that your story sounds familiar.
I'm sorry the trickster has wasted your time.

I am afraid this is a leave scam. I expect you had a load of false forms and additional personnel "approving" leave, all the same scammer however. Soldiers pay nothing for leave, no one else can apply for them. They do not need money for so called leave benefit which does not exist in any way. Leave is earned and not something that a person can ask for. They get so much allocation per time period and on active service are unable to drop everything and just go on leave. The unit as a whole will get its leave on return to offset that inconvenience. I am sorry you lost a considerable amount of money and there is no way to get it back. Bear in mind that none of the people exist in reality, they are a creation of the criminal as a means to steal your money.

As stated above, this is 100% African romance scam, plain and simple. The best thing you can do is cut off all contact with this scammer. Posting his information will help others to avoid being scammed too.

He said he did not expect me to understand it but it proves he is a GunnerAnd that knowing his apo or ako is nothing to do with ME

This is a typical example of a misogynistic scammer, becoming aggressive or putting you on the defensive because you have dared to ask for some kind of evidence that he is who he says he is. He is angry because you are not being a good maga (their word for victim, which loosely translates to "fool.") In his world, he should be in control, and your role is to be compliant and follow his instructions.

Soldiers who are able to hang out on dating sites, social networking sites, and/or chat are not on highly secret missions. They are perfectly able to share their official addresses with people. It is also legitimate (and advisable) for any person to do some basic research on someone they have met online. You should seriously question whether you want to continue with anyone who becomes aggressive, defensive, or overly controlling when you are asking legitimate questions to verify identity.
