About me
I am a friendly, generous, creative and passionate person and appreciate the same qualities in others. I love spending time with people that crack me up, I mean can’t breath, tears running down my face kind of laughter. I’m not quick to judge, but don’t mind being judged (constructively of course). I’ll talk to anyone, enjoy the company of many but prefer deeper relationships with a few people I respect and admire, that inspire me and want to be inspired.

I met the above fellow on match.com and we have been talking for around 1 1/2 months. He has been sweet and romantic, now claiming he wants to marry me. he claims to be an engineer and just arrived in Africa 1 week ago to work on a job. Today, he asked me for money saying he would get his funds in a few days and could pay me back. After convincing him there was no way, he left the subject alone for a while. Later, he claimed that the company that hired him is ready to transfer his money but requires a foreign bank account. He has not yet asked me anything about my bank account but I am worried. I did find three references to the same email listed above and the pictures match what he sent me. Some of the details differ such as the city of residence. I don't know what is means if he is listed there...does it mean he has scammed or what?

Am I being set up to be scammed or could he be for real?

Welcome to ScamWarners jdathkamom . From what you have described, this is exactly the way scammers operate. Especially romance scammers "carry you along" with romantic words and bide their time, then they love you and need you to help them out of a "problem".

I look at it this way, would I or you ask someone we have only communicated with on the internet to lend us money? The answer is NO. If we wouldn't ask someone on the internet to lend us money, why would we consider lending money to someone we "met" on the internet?

Real people who are stable have family or business partners they can and do turn to. Scammers and con men ask for a stranger to do a financial favor for them.

I see that you have found that this email address already has been presented here. That is a HUGE indicator that he is a scammer. The fact that he changes his location is another reason to believe he is a scammer. The fact that he uses the same photos indicates that he is a scammer. If you look he changes his occupation several times in the posts we already have on him. Real people do not do that.

He will NEVER admit to being a scammer. He would deny it. I encourage you to check the headers from the emails you have received. They can help you know where he is emailing from. He will keep asking you for money because that is his goal. To get money from you. He does not want a wife or a girl friend, he wants someone who will be an ATM. I encourage you to stop communicating with him and just disappear.

I decided to join your post with the existing information on this scammer.
