The guy depicted in these pictures is me...I am the one who entered this profile on Bride.ru and I am outraged that someone is using my pictures and information--they didn't even change one word of it except for the name--which is not mine and I will not reveal it here. This is a new type of fraud that is being committed with somone else's image-mine! I want to find the person who is using my image and pound their face to a pulp. Maybe someday I will have that opportunity...until then...may the scammers who are using this have nothing but trouble in their lives, may they see the inside of prison someday and may they live a long a lonely life haunted by the memories of the bad things they have done to people.

I hope you have tightened up your Privacy Settings, so future scammers will not be able to "see" you. The fact is, once you have posted something on the internet, it is there for life. There is no way to retrieve your information or photos.

You can post something indicating your information is being used by a scammer, and you are not involved in scamming at all. Some victims have tracked down the real people in the photos and been less than kind. Some victims contact the real person in the photos to tell then their photos have been stolen.

It is sadly rare that a scammer gets caught and brought to justice. It is a great fantasy that they would be punished. Few are.
