The more my loved one understands me and truly listen to me and appreciate the things that i say to her, the more open we would be to one another . One good way of ensuring a solid line of communication in a relationship is to set aside a ten to twenty minute period once a day to let each other know what's on our mind. By doing this, we can help ourselves to getting possible problems off our minds before they grow into unsolvable issues. When we have this daily discussion, it's important to put aside all distractions. Turn the television off, leave your cellular phone elsewhere, and be sure that the room is free of distraction, ensuring that we hold each other for cool attention. One good practice that is commonly used in conversation is to respond with both body language and spoken language when we discuss issues.
I just want you to be yourself - loudly. It is very sad to see those in relationships of emotional investment hold back from letting one know the type of person they are.I build trust in a relationship by entrusting My Self to you. This sounds easy but I find it difficult for most to pull off. Most of us have a difficult time declaring our SELF. For one thing, if you're like most people, you haven't given much thought to what it is that makes YOU truly YOU. Don't you feel like you glide through life on autopilot, focusing on tasks, goals, accomplishments, problems and the external realities? Don't you tend to focus on those things out there or that person out here? I am concerned about what you are thinking, how you are responding , Your conversations may be pleasant but fairly superficial and bluntly,boringly inane. You converse about things/relationships/events out there. You are reluctant to share your thoughts, values, and impressions or take a stand. This doesn't destroy trust. But it doesn't create it either. And, if you take a stand it may serve the purpose of protecting us or entrenching you as you react against someone. This more often than not creates trust barriers. Take some time to reflect on your standards. What are your standards for a relationship? What standards do you hold for yourself? What do you order your life around? What are the 4 top values in your life? What are some themes that you live by? What are you known for? And then…begin letting significant people like me in your life now. I will respect you.. I will know you more deeply. They will thank me for the opportunity to know you. Then I will see you as a person of character. I will trust you. They can count on you. Then know exactly what is behind and within you.
Sex is a very important part of a relationship, but it cannot and should not be the most important part.. I fear that to many people confuse sex for love and if that is the case then the relationship is doomed to fail. communication is the key for a long and happy relationship. What I look forward to is being able to come home at night to share my day with my lover and to have her share her day with me. Good communication can and will prevent small insignificant problems from being blown out of proportion and troublesome. Setting time aside daily to share thoughts with each other is essential.
Everyone has different values in their lives and therefore different values and priorities in what they seek in a relationship. First, one must not be afraid of commitment. I find that so many are for some reason afraid to commit to another. Life is to short to play games. To many are also concerned on what they see on the outside, when what a person has on the inside is who they really are and what is truly important. Here are the main things that I look for in a relationship. No one is perfect, as much as we may try we all have imperfections.

2. Accept each other for who they are

4. Total Loyalty to each other
5. Share your thoughts openly and honestly
6. Be willing to put an effort into the relationship, they take work they don't just happen
7. Don't be afraid to show affection, even in public
8. Never go to bed angry
9. Each partner must be equal in the relationship
10 Love but do not smother each other and allow the other to retain his individuality
11. Never take each other for granted.
These are some of the values that I feel are important in a relationship. While it is important for us to be as one in the relationship so to speak, it is also vital that we each maintain our own individuality.
