Please help my mother is being scammed!!

My mother is inwaaay deep with a scammer. We left it because we thought it would run its course. We now know she is sending money and lots of items. I have email ddresses, addresses where she has sent packages and pictures that he is using. You already have him on here, His name is Jeffrey Williams, He acts as a Navy guy from Africa. Email address is [email protected] or [email protected]. We need help, because she will not listen to us at all. He has her brainwashed and we fear for er health in a bad way.


Her health is due to very bad diabetic, and she is working ALOT ofovertime just to be able to send him money for stuff that he says he needs in order to talk to her. IE cell phones, pay his internet. I have lots of info if somone replies.

I wish it were hello under happier circumstances csmilesez. Yes she is being scammed and taken for a ride. I'm afraid if your mother is in too deep it's going to be difficult for her to see the truth. However we must try. Perhaps show her the page the scammer is listed on. Bring the computer screen in front of your mother so she can absorb the facts. You will need to be supportive because when the realisation sets in, it will be a rough landing for her. She never has been in contact with a navy guy, more like a grubby trickster from nigeria. Has she been sending money to the published address or by wiring money transfers? The address leads us to the guinea savannah area of Oyo State. The people are scattered in several towns and villages namely: Iseyin, Saki, Okeho, Igbeti and Igboho. Many of the people are hardworking and hospitable. It's unfortunate she is in contact with one of the bad ones.
Another thought is look at the top of this page, type military scam or phone scam into the site search and the results will blow you out of the water. A familiar theme will quickly appear when you start reading through them. Hopefully your mother will be able to see the same pattern from her e-mails.

We have shown her numerous times sites about military and romance scams, She just gets defensive and shuts us out completely. Yes she has sent money I know the last $200 was thru money gram. She has snt clothes, phones. gifts to his "family" we really need help with having a full proof way of outing this guy to her so she has no doubt.
We have thought of sending him an email directly and telling him to stop contacting her or we will persue legal action, but if he tells her we did it may only make it worse. Any suggestions?
