New Scam on a Military Soldier

Looks like another serviceman's name and face has been hacked. The perputrator asked for money for a sat phone. He is good, and uses the english language and grammer in proper context. Tried several times to slip him up. Besides getting upset...he always came back. He has since stopped asking for money. He has a facebook account to back his pictures. He uses Preston Jason Grant on Yahoo, and has a gmail account as well.

I like most of the women gave him my heart. And do feel like I fell in love with the soldier I thought I was talking too. I really want to take this scammer down, so he can't hurt anyone else. What else can I do to help?

Is there a way to find out who the real soldier is. And if he is alive. I kept thinking that maybe the scammer took the identity of one of our fallen...just pisses me off so much, I can't say. He didn't get any money out of me, thank god. But if I wasn't looking for it, he could have easily.

The profile looks like it was written by a West African. Could you post the emails he sent? He's probably using a script and someone else who got them may google phrases in the script. Also, when he asked for money, did he introduce any websites or domain names?

Also in regards to websites of domain names. I never let him get that far. I kept pushing off his requests for money. This is the cell number that he texted me from occasionally. 202-505-6302.

Just to inform everyone there is another military scamer that goes by the name of smithsmith712@yahoo and smith smith 712@gmail. He is trying to get me to send him a new phone to accra ghana. He will do anything to make you send him a phone. He tells you oh i am in the military and he impersonates a commander stating he has to get his friend his phone back that someone took. I in my life have never ever heard of anyone having to give someone a new phone back to them before coming home.

Just wanted all to know. The scammers do read this site. Received a very threatening email and texts from scammer after he found out that the real soldier he used and I took down his fb site and dating site profiles. He admitted that he saw the write up on this site and was really upset that I would post here. Local police were brought in at that time. Its a scary thing. But beware...they know this site exists and they do read/look at it.
