[email protected] SCAMMER on POF.com I too was almost taken by this man or whoever he is. He claimed he was a self employed General Contractor from South Carolina. Builds pedestrian bridges, etc. Wife died in car accident. Parents were deceased. He was from South Africa. We did about 1 wk of emails and yahoo messengers. Would not call. Then he had to go to Scotland to finish a project and would return in 2 weeks. I was to pick him up at the airport. He never would tell me what time. Then the project went haywire. Sporatic messages at how stressed he was. Gave me his cell# and said call anytime. I traced the # to Las Vegas and called. Went to VM. Said his daddy had a cargo ship and he was trying to sell it. Also, he had a house in NY he was trying to sell. Then he called and said he needed 1300.00 to pay some laborers, could I western union the money in 1 hour. Urgent. I said don't have it. Then he asked what can you send. I need anything in 1 hour. Gave me Western Union info to send to a Matthew Craig in London. Thank God I did not send any money. And poof. He disappeared.
