i think i have been hit with a scammer.

This is one of several sent pics and every sign indicates something wrong. i can provide any info needed.

this member contacted me on badoo.com, then deleted her profile, the message contained the email address. of course she is a model, and needs money. i used some nifty tools to ip check and came up with "Hosting Services Inc. (dba Midphase)" which has been accused of other scams.

I was unable to find any pics of this person on the internet, however several "dating sites" have pics that look almost exactly like this person. Here is a transcript of some of her most recent message.

I really feel bad last night and i don't know what to do. And dunno how i'm

with here finally informed me they having little problem with my payment after
the whole deal at last show, I'm confused, i told them, they couldn't
do this to me this is bullshit! sorry of my word, can't help it. But they were

I feel so much disappointed about this and its causes me headache. Though
i am still thinking how to figure out now. Bcuz it can may cause of
my delay here if i don't take any step now.. But i contacts one of my clients
there in State for immediate payment and they are goin to shoulder all the
liabilities! Now I got a lil joy in my heart knowing they listen to my
complain and ready to issue out my payment check there soon. Now, i'm thinking
i'm gonna need your help in this aspect. I really need your help i
have called most banks here but they don't accept American checks here and
im gonna need cash urgently. I need to pay off some certain bill to get my
ass back home. please i want u to email me back with your mailing address
and your complete full name; so that my client can issue the payment in check
in your name and send it to you there and you will help me deposit in your
bank account and wait till it clears, get the cash and send it to me here.
So I can get my flight back home. I would have send it to my mom but she
' lives in Canada and she wont able to make cuz she's in wheel chair. I'm sure
you will use this room to prove me how u really care. Note: am trusting
you because i believe you are honest, i have my faith in you that your not
gonna screwed me over of my money. If you did i'm gonna be stuck here and
the most miserable person in this world! I would really appreciate and i am
looking forward meeting you personally as soon as i return from
this trip. I am sorry if this come to you by surprise, cuz it does to me too.

I have not yet replied and have given NO information about myself. so now i am considering giving a fake address and uploading the rest of her pics and unleashing the email address.

Yes, this person is pulling off a cheque/check scam. They are looking for a victim to cash a fake cheque on their behalf into the victims bank account. The bank then tells the victim it has cleared so they think everything is ok, withdraw the cash and send the money back to the scammer, usually by Western Union or Moneygram the scammer collects the cash usually with no ID being necessary and disappear with the victims cash never to be seen again.

Days, weeks, months later the bank discover the cheque was fake and then demand the money back and the victim is held responsible. Some victims have actually gone to jail for cashing fake cheques.

I know you say this person has no information on you but please make sure of this. If this scammer has any real life information on you please do not attempt to bait/mess with him just drop all contact with him. There are lot of scammers pulling off similar scams for you to have a go at with made up information.

lucky for me i am the shy type and value privacy - i gave zero information about myself and i am a master at evading probing questions - i also filled out no info on those sites, and it seems other users on this very forum have been nearly scammed by this "amber joe".
