I feel that this persons is fake and I feel like it is a scam. It runs along as a romance scam. The following is what I have received.

I have also been asked for my cell number, which I freely gave, because we kept just missing each other online, The first day he sent me poetry, really mushey, apoligetic for the miles between us. He also told me that he was totally in love with me. Said that his son was living with a sister-in-law. He asked me to delete my account because he didn't want to lose me to another person on the site. He never called me at 5pm.

I didn't fall for the scam, because my ex husband fell for one and sent the "girl" $400.00 and he started to fall for a Russian who actually gave him HER phone number!! I thought that was odd in itself.

Let me get this straight. He's in the military, he has a cellphone, but he needs you to pay $200 to activate it before he can use it?

Hogwash.

The reason he won't call you on the phone is that he grew up in hick town Nigeria, not Texas, and his accent would give him away.
