Information on romance scams and scammers.

Hello after meeting a girl (fake name: Katherine Powell) on a free christian dating site. She appeared as a Catholic of 36 years old. She used religion and faith to make it real (I'm Catholic). That site was http://www.christiandatingforfree.com.. she attracted me to my gmail account and wanted me to remove my account on that dating site. Her profile on that christian dating site was banned and mentioned SCAM and money asking afterwards (after I sent the money) She told me she was from LA and gave me a fake phone number in Kansas 816-533-5862 that is nothing more than a voice mail. She kept on telling me she couldnt call me right now. After a few days, I felt in love with her and sent her money ($700) using Western Union, sent to Michael Rhoades, Dover, Delaware to pay for a sick relative. Two days after she asked me for more money but wouldn't try to call me on the phone. That's where I begun to find it very suspicious. That person is very talented for scamming people, I really believed that it was the love of my life and that I was in a real relationship. I can provide pictures and e-mails. Her fake address in LA is 10660 wilshire blvd # 1104, los angeles, ca,zip code- 90024.

Thank you

Update 11/8: «she« finally called me but had a male voice, trying to speak like female.. not bothering talking to me for a minute. So I just had confirmation this is a SCAM.
